# How It Works

## Overview

iFlux Global is excited to introduce our new **Swap feature**, which enables the instant and seamless exchange of cryptocurrencies directly within the iFlux platform. This feature provides a convenient way to diversify your portfolio, react to market movements, and manage your crypto holdings efficiently.

## Key Features

* **Instant Swaps:** Exchange one cryptocurrency for another instantly.
* **Market Rate:** Swaps are executed at the current market rate, ensuring fair and transparent pricing.
* **2-Minute Price Lock:** To provide stability and protect against rapid price fluctuations, the quoted exchange rate is locked in for 2 minutes after you initiate a swap.
* **Wide Range of Tokens:** Swap between a wide variety of supported cryptocurrencies. 
* **Simple Interface:** The Swap feature is integrated directly into your iFlux account, making it easy to use.

## How it Works

1. **Select Tokens:** Choose the cryptocurrency you want to swap from (Token A) and the cryptocurrency you want to swap to (Token B).
2. **Enter Amount:** Specify the amount of Token A you wish to swap.
3. **Review Quote:** iFlux Global will display the current exchange rate, the estimated amount of Token B you will receive, and the applicable fee
4. **Confirm Swap:** If you are satisfied with the quote, confirm the swap.
5. **Instant Execution:** The swap will be executed instantly, and your wallet balances will be updated to reflect the exchange.
6. **Reload:** If the 2-minute price lock expires soon, the system will ask you to reload to get the newest price.

## Fees

A 0.7% transaction fee is applied to each swap. This fee is deducted from the amount of Token A you are swapping from.

**Example:**

* You want to swap 100 Token A for Token B.
* iFlux will deduct a 0.7% fee: 100 Token A \* 0.007 = 0.7 Token A.
* You will use 99.3 Token A to execute the swap.
* You will receive the equivalent value of 99.3 Token A in Token B, based on the current market rate at the time of the swap (within the 2-minute price lock).

## Important Considerations

* **Market Volatility:** While the 2-minute price lock provides some protection, cryptocurrency prices can be highly volatile. Be aware of the potential for price changes before initiating a swap and after the 2-minute lock expires.
* **Liquidity:** Ensure there is sufficient liquidity for the tokens you are swapping to avoid slippage (receiving a less favorable exchange rate than expected).  iFlux Global strives to provide deep liquidity, but market conditions can vary.
* **Supported Tokens:** Not all tokens available on iFlux Global may be available for swapping.
